13th October - Chill Factore

The last stop of the Urban Ride tour was at Manchester's Chill Factore on the evening of the 13th October. The course set up was excellent with a really good mixture of different rails and boxes. Riders were stepping it up a level throwing down loads of newly learned moves for one last chance of gaining a place in the London Ride event. The tricks including 360 switch ups, 450's and switch 270's all on one feature were standard!

Judges awarded the last place to a well deserving Liam Beardsmoore who was riding constantly well all evening!

9th October - Sno!zone Castleford

The Urban Ride tour hit up Castleford on 9th October being greeted with an impressive slope set up including a combination of rails, kicker and a huge flat down flat box. Josh Jenkins impressed the judges the most with his super slick rail skills and by showing he can destroy a kicker when he has to. We must give a big shout out to Haydyn Fiori who with a broken thumb was still fully going for it on the jumps and rails. The last stop of the tour will be at Chill Factore on thursday.

8th October - Norfolk Ski Centre

On Saturday the 8th of October the Urban Ride tour stopped at Norfolk Ski Centre to witness the amazing kicker action. Skiers had travelled from as far away as London and Manchester to have a shot at earning a place in the London Ride event forcing the judges to make some tough decisions in order to choose two riders to go through. At the end of the day they decided that M J Rowlands and Monty Wright had done more than enough to prove they had what it takes.

4th October - Tamworth Snowdome
The 2nd stop of the Urban Ride tour was held at Tamworth Snow Dome on the 4th of October. Skiers had travelled from as far away as Kent to have a shot at qualifying for the London Ride Event! With standards and numbers very high it was sure to be an eventful evening. Tom Saunders and Marcus Hayward stood out to the judges by mastering the jumps and rails with some seriously technical tricks. We must also give a big shout out to Joe Hides who was in with a shot of qualifying until he had a bad crash. The next stage of the tour is at Norfolk Ski Centre on Saturday the 8th of October.

29th September - Chill Factore
The first stop of the Urban Ride tour kicked off at Manchester's Chill Factore on Thursday 29th September. The park shapers had done an excellent job making the amazing set up with a good mixture of different rails and jumps.

The session took place over two hours and gave the riders plenty of time to show off their skills. The event was run along side the Grom Camps so there was plenty of top quality coaching on hand as well as prizes for the hardest working, most improved and best trick.

The standard of skiing was extremely high with the likes of Tyler Harding, Sissy Herrant and Rowan Cheshire throwing down some top class moves including 270's onto the high tube with 450 offs. It was eventually decided to award the prize of a slot in the London Ride to Will Wozencroft. Will had skied super hard all night and really pushed himself. After a few pretty brutal crashes Will managed to get a switch lip 270 disaster onto the kink rail which wowed the judges and coaches stamping his authority on his well deserved prize!
