THE URBAN Ride 2011

The Urban Ride 11, presented by Snow + Rock, took place across the UK's premiere skiing venues during the first two weeks in October.  This talent search competition set out to find up and coming riders showing enough talent to be part of the line up for the London Ride 11.  The chosen riders earning a place at London Ride are the following: 

Chill Factore Manchester - Will Wozencroft
Tamworth Snow Dome - Tom Saunders and Marcus Hayward
Norfolk Snowsports Centre - M J Rowlands and Monty Wright
Sno!zone Castleford - Josh Jenkins
Chill Factore Manchester - Liam Beardsmoore

One thing this years tour did show us is that the level of riding on the UK scene has improved significantly in 2011.  There has been massive motivation in the last twelve months partly due to Woodsy's Euro X-Games Bronze medal, Pat Sharples and the Grom Camps and having Team GB future Olympic riders like Tyler Harding and Katie Summer-Hayes riding alongside the up and coming skiers on a weekly basis at these UK venues.
